Description:
Join Dr. Kellie Nasont for an experiential workshop to identify and explore your values, and learn how to guide your clients through values-based interventions.  Dr. Nasont uses an existential framework that creates space for difficult questions and "stuck points" that impede upon both personal and therapeutic progress.  Attendees will leave with a deeper and more grounded connection to themselves, making them more effective as clinicians.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Kellie Nasont, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Southern California, as part of JLM Psychological Services. Dr. Nasont’s passion for psychotherapy comes from curiosity of how sociological and psychological development impact daily functioning - particularly in relationships. She believes that most psychological distress originates from misalignment of a person’s values and their behaviors and emotions. Dr. Nasont specializes in treatment of anxiety, post-partum depression/anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma related to sexual assault. Dr. Nasont practices from a psychodynamic and existentially-based orientation, both of which support and further her interest in understanding the psychological value of hope and hope-filled living. It is her belief that happiness does not come from pursuit of perfection, but from embracing brokenness and allowing ourselves to be seen and accepted as we are.
